ABOUT MY
PAINTINGS: "I enjoy preserving American culture in
a unique and entertaining way. Each original piece is produced with archival materials only
... an heirloom for future generations. These paintings combine my
artistic and technical expertise, research proficiency, and pop culture passions. My
life mission is to entertain, brighten, and help heal our world through my creative
talents ...and I feel I accomplish this vision thru my imaginative processes.

COLLECTOR FEEDBACK
Michele's enthusiastic approach to her life and art are only matched by
her unique artistic talent. Her art stands alone as one-of-a-kind and
completely original and devoid of any similarities to any artists from the past
or present. In that respect, I have decided to purchase several more
vintage Hollywood paintings, since I am aware of the value of the pieces as well
as the
outstanding preservation quality.

ABOUT THE ARTIST | SHORT BIO
MORATA is a devoted Fine Artist whose
work is currently being collected throughout the U.S. and internationally thru
exclusive Fine Art galleries, shows, exhibits, and the internet. Working with over 150 imported
texture mediums and combining her 2-D & 3-D technical, artistic, literary, and
research skills, she creates one-of-a-kind vintage and contemporary paintings &
commissions.
Michele's painting passion began as a young
child. She received her first award at age 6 and had her first artistic memory
of being a painter at age 4. She studied at Newport Beach Museum of Art, a
variety of universities, and under the guidance of many famous artists, although
some of her creative works display original techniques which she has invented.
Along with painting, she keeps a daily Art journal which includes extensive
notes on her painting dreams, as well as poetry and thoughts inspired by her
love of art. Michele has completed her first poetry book, "Querencia: Poetry on
Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Self-Honesty", and is currently working on her
2nd book.
She is dedicated to supporting several
charitable organizations. Her last donation was featured in a Silent Auction at
Seven-Degrees in Laguna Beach, CA thru Art & Creativity for Healing. All
proceeds from that event provide free Art for Healing classes & workshops for
children & their families suffering from abuse, illness, and grief. She is a
member of Saddleback Art League and and a lifetime member of SAG (Screen Actor's
Guild) and AFTRA (American Federation of Television & Radio Artists). All
Michele's Original Paintings are registered for authenticity purposes with
National Fine Arts Title Registry.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
Painting, Writing, and Design are my primary chosen paths of creative self-expression. Everyone has something they
can do, which no one else can do. Every person can give a gift to the
world, that no one else can give, the discovery of which lies sometimes buried
within one's soul. One of my mother’s dreams was to be a
professional artist, but she lacked confidence in herself and her talent.
She gave me something that she could never give herself. Before she
died, she told me that she felt as if she had never "really lived." This
had a profound impact on my life. After that, I made a lifetime promise to
continue to paint in honor of my mother, to live my authentic creative truth, and to encourage others in the journey to discover
who they really are.
